Perfect Garlic Bread with Mozzarella

Preparation:
1. Beat the egg. Melted butter. Heat the milk in a saucepan until lukewarm. Then add the flour, dry yeast, sugar, egg, butter, milk and salt to a large bowl.

2. First, knead all the ingredients with the dough hook of a hand mixer, then with your hands, until a smooth and very soft yeast dough is formed.

3. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and set aside for 1 hour until the dough has at least doubled in volume.

4. Cut the mozzarella into strips. Now knead the dough again, adding a little flour, and form a ball. Preheat the oven (top and bottom temperature 210°C).

5. Place the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and, with a little oil on your hands, form a round, flat cake with a diameter of approx. 25cm.

6. Use your fingers to make 4 round holes of different sizes in the dough. Fill the gaps on all sides with strips of mozzarella, then with chopped garlic.

7. To season the party bread, sprinkle evenly with ground pepper, herbs, and chili flakes. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
