Directons:
1️⃣ Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with nonstick spray or butter.
2️⃣ Make the Donut Batter:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
3️⃣ Fill the Donut Pan:
Spoon the batter into a piping bag or Ziploc bag with the corner cut off. Pipe the batter into the donut cavities, filling each about 3/4 full.
4️⃣ Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
