Vegetable Flatbread: The Easy Recipe Rich in Vegetables

1 CARROT
6 GREEN ONIONS
2 KAPI pepper
900 g (6 cups) FLOUR
2 cups HOT MILK
1 and 1/2 cups HOT WATER
1 and 1/2 teaspoons SALT
1 packet (7 g) DRY YEAST
1/2 cup OLIVE
OIL SUNFLOWER OIL
INSTRUCTIONS

  • Chop the carrots, green onions and Kapi peppers.
  • Add chopped vegetables to a large mixing bowl.
  • Add salt, baking powder and water.
  • Pour in the milk, then add the water and flour.
  • Mix the ingredients together with your hands (or use a spatula) and continue kneading the dough until smooth.
    • Pour the olive oil over it, cover, then let the dough rise for 30 minutes to an hour, or until doubled in size.
    • Divide the dough into eight parts.
    • Form each piece into a ball. Place on a lightly floured surface, then roll out into a disc.
    • Transfer the rolled out dough to a saucepan over medium heat.

      • Bake the flatbread over medium heat, then flip it over and continue until the bread is cooked through.
      • Once the patties are cooked through, transfer them to a plate. Brush the bread with melted butter before placing the next one on top.

      Serve the flatbread as an accompaniment to a curry in sauce or use it to make chicken gyros
