Start by heating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and brush the baking dish of your choice with a light layer of oil or nonstick spray.
To ensure even cooking and a tender bite, use a meat masher to gently flatten the chicken breasts to about 1 inch thick. In a bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing with the sour cream (if you include it).
Gently season each chicken breast. Top each piece with 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and place in the baking dish.
Generously coat the chicken with the sauce. Scatter the leftover Parmesan cheese for a golden crust.
Transfer to the oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes. Once the chicken is cooked through and has a golden hue, it’s ready.
Presentation tip:
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor. To elevate this meal, consider pairing it with oven-roasted veggies or a crispy arugula salad.
