Prepare the dough:
In a large bowl, mix 750 g of wheat flour and 1 teaspoon of salt.
Gradually add 600 ml of water to the flour, mixing thoroughly until a dough forms.
Knead the dough well with your hands, adding enough flour to prevent sticking.
Set the dough aside for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough:
After resting, sprinkle a little flour on the work surface.
Divide the dough into 2 parts, then each part into 16-18 smaller portions.
Prepare the dough portions:
Knead each portion of dough lightly with your hands and dip in melted butter. Place the buttered dough portions on a baking sheet, cover with foil and set aside for 1 hour.
Prepare the filling:
Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add finely chopped green onion and fry until soft.
In a bowl, mix the fried onion with the chopped hard-boiled eggs.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (398°F). Using
your hands, stretch each portion of dough into a flat disc.
Place a little of the prepared filling in the centre of each disc.
Fold the dough over the filling, sealing the edges as shown in the video (if using).
Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown .
At your service:
Mix and bake the cakes, and fry them lightly before serving.
