Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Stir in the instant yeast.
Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a large rectangle (about 12×8 inches). Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle chopped strawberries and cinnamon evenly over the cream cheese layer.
Form the Rolls:
Roll the dough tightly, starting from the longer edge, into a log. Slice into 9-12 equal pieces.
Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake the Rolls:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown on top.
Make the Icing:
While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, softened cream cheese, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
