METHOD
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Combine egg, hot milk and oil. Add salt and baking soda. Start adding flour and knead until soft dough.
Cut dough into 27 portions, shape into a ball and leave for 15 minutes.
Shape each ball into a circle and place 9 circles on top of each other, creating 3 layers of dough.
Lay out each sheet of dough in layers. Place base layer in a round tin, cover with half of ricotta, add another layer of pasta, add more cheese and finish with the rest of the dough.
Cut baklava into squares, cook for 30 minutes, pour in milk and water solution and cook for another 30 minutes.
