Spanakopita Rolls – a Greek recipe for a tasty appetizer!

Ingredients
YOUNG SPINACH
250g
RICOTTA CHEESE
350g (1 1/4 cup)
CHEESE
80g (1/2 cup)
PARMESAN
40g (1/4 cup)
2 GREEN ONIONS
1 EGG
1 EGG YOLK
2 ROLL SHEET
OLIVE OIL DOUGH
1 GARLIC CLOVE
, SALT AND PEPPER
Instructions

Add olive oil to a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add spinach and sauté until wilted. Reserve and set aside to cool.
Step 1
Add ricotta, cheese, parmesan, shallot, egg, salt, and pepper to a bowl and mix well.

Step 2.
Add the cooled spinach to the ricotta mixture and mix.

Step 3
Unfold the puff pastry roll on a cutting board and cut it into three rectangles.

Step 4:
Pour the mixture into the center of each rectangle.

Step 5
Fold each rectangle.

Step 6
Cut each block into three pieces.

Step 7
Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Brush the buns with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Step 9
Place in the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve on a plate and enjoy.
