Sicilian Pistachio Cake 


For the Frosting:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup heavy cream
For Garnish:
Chopped pistachios
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Directions:
Prepare the Cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan or line with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground pistachios, almond flour, granulated sugar, lemon zest, orange zest, baking powder, and salt.
Beat in eggs one at a time until the mixture is well combined and forms a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
