Roman-style rolls

-Take a piece and place it on a plate, put a slice of raw ham on top, then a strip of carrot and a strip of celery.

-Roll the bun and secure with toothpicks. Continue this way until you have created 8.

-Reserve the buns and prepare the cooking base: put a little olive oil, salt and onion in a large pan. Then add the rest of the celery and diced carrots. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.

-Add the buns, trying not to overlap them too much. Let them brown for 5 minutes and turn them over when they start to brown.

-Combine the sauce with a little water, add salt and mix gently.

-At this point, cover and simmer over low heat for 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

-Once the buns are ready, remove the toothpicks and place them on a plate, drizzling some of the sauce over them. Enjoy your meal!
