- 600 g potatoes, thinly sliced
- 400 g minced meat
- 5 peppers (red, green, yellow) cut into thin strips
- 1 egg
- 100 g ricotta cheese
- 100 g grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated nutmeg to taste
- Crushed oregano to taste

Procedure:
- Preparation of potatoes:
- In a large skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the potato slices and season with salt, pepper and a little grated nutmeg.
- Cook the potatoes for about 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and tender. Then remove and set aside.

- Remove the meat and set aside with the potatoes.
- Preparation of Peppers:
- In the same pan, add a little oil if necessary and add the peppers cut into thin strips.
- Cook peppers until tender and lightly caramelized, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Mixture of ingredients:
- In a large bowl, beat the egg and mix it with the ricotta.
- Add the potatoes, ground meat and peppers to the bowl and mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- Assembly and final cooking:
- Return the mixture to the pan, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and cook over medium-low heat, covered, for about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let stand for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with a little more crushed oregano if desired and serve warm.
