In a bowl, mix the warm water, warm milk, sugar and dry yeast. Mix well and let sit for 5 minutes until the yeast dissolves.
Add the melted butter to the yeast mixture and mix well.
Sift the wheat flour and salt into the mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
Grease a bowl with oil and place the dough in it. Cover and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
After the dough has doubled in size, divide it into 4 equal parts and shape each into a ball. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
Roll each ball of dough into a circle and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Cover and let them rest for another 20 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix the egg yolk and milk. Brush the surface of the dough balls with this mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
Let the buns cool slightly before serving.
Tips:
Rinse and soak the raisins for 10 minutes before adding them to the dough.
