Marble Cake

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a cake tin by greasing and flouring it.

2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar and baking powder.

3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

4. Fold the melted butter into the mixture and mix until smooth.

5. Divide the mixture into two equal portions.

6. Add the cocoa powder and milk to one portion. Mix well until you have a smooth chocolate batter.

7. Pour a layer of the natural mixture into the prepared tin. Add a layer of the chocolate mixture on top. Continue alternating layers until both mixtures are used, creating a marbled effect.

8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean.

9. Once cooked, let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then turn it out and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

This homemade marble cake is perfect for a snack or a simple but tasty dessert. Try it and enjoy! 🍰😋
