1. First roll out the puff pastry and brush half of the dough with a good half of the sour cream. Spread half of the ham and cheese cubes on top. Then fold the uncovered side of the puff pastry over the other side.
2. Spread half of the dough with the remaining sour cream again, then place the grated ham cubes and cheese on top. Then fold the uncovered half of the dough over.
3. Cut the puff pastry into strips. Carefully form a spiral and then place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 190 degrees for approx. 20 minutes.
Variation 2: These spears are also very good if you use smoked salmon instead of ham. You will need about 200 g for this.
