Cleansing with lemon juice:
Dip a clean white cloth in a bowl of water and lemon juice, then treat stubborn stains and dirty areas of the comforter.
3. Wash a comforter in the machine:
- Check the holes first so the filling doesn’t come out of the fabric.
- Respect the washing temperature indicated on the label, generally between 40° and 60°.
- Add a few tennis balls to preserve the quilt’s puffy look.
- Check if the drum can support the weight of the duvet.
Washing capacity of a duvet cover for 2 people (220×240 cm):
- For 220×240cm quilts, the drum capacity of the machine should be 10kg or more.
- For a 240×260 cm duvet, the capacity of the basket must be 12 kg.
Now you know how to bring your quilt back to life. Don’t forget to vacuum, air and shake it from time to time. Up to you…
