During the “Faves and Finds” segment, Kotb introduced a new song written by Gifford called “3 Little Words.” This heartfelt song showcases Kathie Lee’s talent and passion for music. Kotb then took a moment to update viewers on Kathie Lee’s current whereabouts and activities.
“By the way, Kat is living her best life,” Kotb exclaimed. “She’s in Nashville, writing music, and enjoying every moment. She’s also spending precious time with her adorable grandkids. Kat, we love you!”
Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb began their co-hosting journey on the fourth hour of Today back in 2008. Gifford continued in this role until April 2019 when she decided it was time to explore new opportunities. Jenna Bush Hager, who had frequently filled in for Gifford, ultimately became her permanent replacement.
