Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Recipe

1 cup heavy whipping cream (240g) 🥛
⅓ cup powdered sugar (40g) 🍬
Mini chocolate chips, for sprinkling 🍫
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cookie Dough
Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until well blended.
Add Dry Ingredients: Mix in the all-purpose flour, salt, and mini chocolate chips. The dough will be wet.
Form Dough Balls: Gently roll the dough into small balls (about teaspoon-sized) and place them on a wax paper-lined plate or baking sheet.
Chill: Place the dough balls in the freezer to harden while preparing the rest of the cheesecake.
2. Prepare the Crust
Grease Pan: Lightly grease the bottom and sides of a 10-inch springform pan.
Combine Crust Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter with the graham cracker crumbs or cookie crumbs.
Press Crust: Press the mixture onto the bottom and about halfway up the sides of the prepared pan.
3. Make the Cheesecake Filling
Beat Filling Ingredients: Using an electric mixer on high speed, beat the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and flour until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and sour cream, mixing just until blended. Be careful not to overmix, as this can cause cracking during baking.
Layer the Batter: Pour half of the cheesecake batter into the prepared crust. Gently stir the cookie dough balls and the additional 1 cup mini chocolate chips into the remaining batter. Pour this mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly to the sides and smoothing the top.
4. Bake the Cheesecake
Bake: Bake the cheesecake at 325°F (165°C) for 1 hour.
Cool in Oven: Turn off the oven and prop the door open several inches. Let the cheesecake sit in the oven for an additional 30 minutes.
Cool Completely: Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack. Refrigerate until chilled, preferably overnight for best results.
5. Whipped Cream Garnish
Prepare Whipped Cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with the powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
6. Serve
Slice and Serve: Cut the cheesecake into slices and top each slice with whipped cream and a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips.
Enjoy!
