½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the chicken:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the sauce:
Using the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
