Beef and Onion Stir Fry


1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Cooked rice or noodles
Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
🥢 Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
🥩 Cook the Beef:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef in a single layer, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sear the beef until it’s browned but not fully cooked through, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
🥦 Stir Fry the Vegetables:
In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onions, garlic, and bell peppers. Stir fry for about 3-4 minutes or until they’re just starting to soften but still retain some crunch.
