Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls

Prepare the Dough:
In a small bowl, mix the warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Stir in the mashed bananas, melted butter, and egg.
Add the frothy yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp towel, and let it rise for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Make the Cinnamon Filling:
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the butter.
Assemble the Rolls:
Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a 12×16-inch rectangle.
Starting from the longer side, roll the dough tightly into a log, then cut it into 12 equal pieces.
Arrange the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover with a towel and let them rise for another 30-40 minutes.
Bake the Rolls:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Make the Cream Cheese Icing:
While the rolls are baking, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. If the icing is too thick, add a bit of milk to reach your desired consistency.
