Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl or a resealable plastic bag, combine the chicken breasts with the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, dried thyme, coarse salt, and ground black pepper. Make sure the chicken is well coated with the marinade. Place the chicken in the refrigerator and let it marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.
Bake the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink in the center (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). If desired, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes to achieve a nice golden color on the chicken. Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest in a warm place for 5 minutes.
